Position Overview:

  • Tuition Reimbursement program available

  • A2 Shift - Saturday to Monday: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM with a $2.50 shift differential

Position Responsibilities: As an Engineering & Facilities Maintenance Technician 3, you will serve as a crucial technical expert responsible for maintaining high equipment availability. Your duties will include:

  • Conducting preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Rapidly diagnosing and resolving equipment failures
  • Collaborating with fellow technicians to address complex issues
  • Ensuring quality control for external contractors
  • Optimizing material handling equipment with building leaders
  • Performing Root Cause Analysis for equipment malfunctions
  • Training and mentoring junior technicians

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyors and robotics
  • Installing and maintaining control components and systems
  • Troubleshooting PLC programs and related components
  • Managing power distribution systems and wiring
  • Utilizing mobile apps for work order management
  • Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment
  • Operating company vehicles for maintenance tasks
  • Working effectively in various environmental conditions
  • Physically managing equipment and products up to 49 pounds

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one
  • Proficient in PC usage and mobile applications
  • Familiarity with electrical diagrams and maintenance procedures
  • Experience in industrial electrical and control systems
  • Preferred qualifications include a degree or certifications in Mechanical/Electrical fields and 4+ years of relevant experience
