Seasonal Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. As a Seasonal Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, providing individualized care and support to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, promoting patient safety and well-being.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and take appropriate action to address any adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques, promoting empowerment and independence.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure and current certification in the state of Texas.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
