Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified Business Analyst based in the TAMPA, FL area for a hybrid role that involves a blend of remote and on-site responsibilities.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to senior technology management regarding financial activities tied to Software and Fixed Price contracts.
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of Fixed Price and Software contracts, collaborating with internal teams and sourcing departments.
  • Conduct forensic analysis to assess financial impacts of Fixed Price Contracts (FPC) and Software projects, proactively mitigating potential negative outcomes.
  • Facilitate payment processes through the Accounts Payable workflow and perform monthly invoice audits for accurate reporting.
  • Monitor Financial Transfer Requests across various groups for both Fixed Price and Software initiatives.
  • Manage financial re-forecasting cycles and ensure accurate entries in financial management tools.
  • Collaborate with Financial Controllers to execute the monthly accrual process, ensuring precise financial reporting.
  • Analyze cross-sector financial data and trends on a monthly basis to inform forecasts and identify savings opportunities.
  • Review financial reports monthly to validate charges and reverse discrepancies as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to enhance systems and global processes, providing insights on efficiency improvements related to Fixed Price and Software financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in finance technology or analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and managing performance metrics in a complex, global environment.
  • Proficient in VBA, database management, and analytics, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership in a fast-paced setting.

  • Familiarity with company financial systems and technology charges.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Capability to engage with senior management effectively.
  • Solid project and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in virtual and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
