Adecco Healthcare is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as a Medical Support Specialist in a plasma donation facility located in Greenfield, WI.
Compensation:
$26-28 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday with rotating shifts (1 week opening, 1 week mid, 1 week closing)
Qualifications:
- Mandatory: LPN License
- Mandatory: BLS Certification
- Preferred: Knowledge of plasma procedures
- Preferred: Skills in venipuncture

Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Support Specialist, you will:
- Evaluate donor eligibility by managing informed consent, providing education on AIDS, conducting medical history interviews, and performing physical examinations.
- Monitor donor reactions at the facility according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Respond to medical emergencies by following SOPs, including executing standing orders from the Center Physician and coordinating transport to emergency care.
- Collaborate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs to address any unacceptable findings or medical inquiries related to donor safety and eligibility.
- Promote vaccination programs for Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu for employees as applicable.
- Manage incidents effectively, ensuring adherence to SOPs during donor evaluations.
- Potentially serve as a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized, assisting with investigations related to public health threats.
Compensation Details:
$26.00 to $28.00 per hour
