POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kitchen Sanitation Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen utensils and cookware. This position is essential for maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment, adhering to all relevant state, local, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Consistent and reliable attendance is crucial. This role requires punctuality and dependable participation in meetings and presentations.
  2. Sanitizes all surfaces in the work area, including cooler floors and any items that may come into contact with food.
  3. Responsible for the removal of trash.
  4. Reports all injuries promptly with accurate documentation.
  5. Completes assigned tasks across various project areas.
  6. Assists in maintaining records for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and other necessary documentation.
  7. Supports cooks with meal preparation and service as needed.
  8. Maintains cleanliness in the dishwashing area.
  9. Polishes stainless-steel equipment in the dishwashing section.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position does not have supervisory duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

  • None required.

This role supports operational hours at the facilities and may require flexibility in response to community events.
