Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our vibrant retirement community. This role involves no travel, as all responsibilities are carried out within our premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing thorough cleaning of resident apartments in Independent Living and nursing home rooms.
- Ensuring the overall cleanliness of the community using specialized cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining public restrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, and fixtures.
- Cleaning common areas such as lobbies and living rooms, which includes vacuuming, dusting, de-cluttering, and trash removal.
- Cleaning educational spaces, including classrooms, by dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assisting in the collection and disposal of waste, including replacing trash liners.
- Maintaining carpeted areas through various cleaning methods, including extraction and vacuuming.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to operate carpet and hard floor care equipment safely.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in operating housekeeping vehicles safely.
- Demonstrated professionalism and responsiveness in interactions with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
