About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans and using the Open Door Policy.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company standards and guidelines.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs, providing guidance and support, and resolving member issues and concerns.
  • Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, and removing damaged or out-of-date goods.

  • Serve customers/members by showing care and concern, asking questions to understand their needs, and using policies and information to exceed their expectations.
  • Use the right resources to resolve customer/member requests and find solutions to problems.

Inventory
  • Handle, move, and display goods in safe and correct ways, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage in a timely manner.
  • Report poor inventory practices and low in-stock levels in assigned areas.
Forklift
  • Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways, report poor or unsafe conditions or practices in assigned areas, and tell management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
Technology
  • Proactively identify customers who need help, actively engage them, and assist them with technology services and items.
  • Model and help others with technology services, identify shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas, and take steps to fix the problem.
