Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Engineer will spearhead initiatives aimed at refining manufacturing and production workflows. This includes:

  • Assessing and enhancing standard manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborating with management and sales teams to optimize production schedules and capabilities.
  • Delivering technical and engineering insights regarding products and services.
  • Providing support to the production facility concerning process parameters and established manufacturing protocols.
  • Identifying and addressing cost and quality discrepancies in new product estimates, proposing effective solutions.
  • Conducting technical presentations to demonstrate product alignment with client requirements.
  • Formulating estimates and pricing in accordance with company policies, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Acting as a liaison among customers, sales, and manufacturing to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Offering sales engineering support by engaging with customers on design, processes, and project concepts.
Research and Development

The role encompasses various aspects of research and development, including:

  • Analyzing market trends to identify new technologies that can enhance production and processes.
  • Exploring innovative ideas, including:
    • Cost analysis
    • Material sourcing
    • Designing new solutions
    • Communicating advancements with sales representatives
    • Investigating new equipment and manufacturing methodologies.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.

Skills: Proficiency in analytical and observational techniques is essential, demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, budget, design, and manage manufacturing programs. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with both customers and team members are crucial. The ability to translate organizational objectives into actionable plans is required, along with a commitment to safety in the workplace.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is necessary.
