Key Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are integral to this role:

  • Supervise and manage crew activities within designated project areas
  • Coordinate and schedule tasks for assigned craft workers while liaising with other trades
  • Interpret specifications and plans to determine construction requirements and procedural planning
  • Measure and mark site locations for structures or equipment using appropriate tools
  • Document operational data, including personnel and production metrics, on designated forms
  • Assist workers engaged in construction activities using hand tools and equipment
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a drug-free work environment
  • Train and guide workers on company policies, safety practices, and operational procedures

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience of 5 years in a Construction Foreman role
  • Required 5-8 years of verifiable experience in construction
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and subcontractors
  • Effective communication skills with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Ability to read and interpret work plans accurately
  • Capability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolding or ladders
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • Compliance with all safety policies and procedures is essential
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are highly valued
  • Good manual dexterity is required, with the ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for extended periods
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory
