Location Requirements

This position is available in multiple locations, and candidates must be situated within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocation. Travel to project sites may be necessary.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required. Candidates with three years of progressive experience in the relevant field may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology is essential.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and AWS is required.
  • Experience in software development processes, automation, build and deployment strategies, release management, and environment management is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and proof of concepts utilizing DevOps tools such as Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with automation using AWS CloudFormation templates.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell and Python, as well as CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab, and databases including MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience in implementing release processes, DevOps methodologies, and continuous delivery practices.
  • Understanding of Software Configuration Management (SCM) principles in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining build and deployment configurations for continuous integration and automated testing.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery management to ensure application availability.
  • Experience with system configuration, performance tuning, and firmware upgrades on Unix/Linux systems.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • A desire to work in a global delivery context.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to articulate daily activities and project progress.
