Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate honing machines, centerless grinders, CNC lathes, and speed lathes to fulfill daily production and quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, configure machines, adjust offsets within programs, and perform necessary tool offset modifications for machining specialty bearings.
  • Conduct inspections of machined dimensions, including threads, inner diameters, outer diameters, lengths, widths, and undercuts/grooves.
  • Exhibit safe working practices.
  • Adhere to company quality control protocols, including in-process inspections and documentation.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings effectively.
  • Communicate instructions clearly in both written and verbal forms in English.
  • Make informed decisions and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with trim/deburr operations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with operating CNC lathes is preferred.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.

Skills and Certifications:
  • Formal training in CNC operations is desirable.
  • A quick learner with the ability to adapt.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unaided.
  • Must wear protective footwear with metatarsal guards and safety glasses while on the job.

This position is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which necessitates that the incumbent be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or possess refugee or asylee status.

**Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Pay Range: $18 to $22/hour.
