Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Are you looking to advance your skills and knowledge within the world of machine operation? We invite you to join our team at Applied Medical as a CNC Machine Operator, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards and driving manufacturing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machines in a production environment and adjust settings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Interpret blueprint dimensions accurately, in order to manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts are within specified tolerances.
  • Adhere to machining policies, Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO standards, and safety guidelines for compliance and quality assurance.
Performance Objectives:
  • Within 60 days: Minimize defects and errors in the production process through careful attention to detail and precision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop proficiency in handling various tools used in CNC machining, including loading, unloading, and basic maintenance.
Position Requirements:
  • Ability to operate CNC machines with precision and thoroughness to meet quality standards in a production environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical information and collaborate on problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Work flexible and extended hours as needed. Must be available to work weekends.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of finished products.
  • Willingness to explore innovative machining techniques and technologies.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in machining processes or technology.
