Job Overview

Light and Green LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lighting Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
    • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, forecasting future sales and performance metrics.
    • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Maintain a deep understanding of our product lines, including technical specifications and design applications.
    • Provide expert guidance to clients on lighting solutions that meet their specific needs and project requirements.
  • Presentation and Demonstration:
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our architectural lighting products.
    • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote our brand and products.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes for clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with their needs.
    • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project specifications.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in architectural lighting.
    • Gather feedback from clients to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project statuses in the CRM system.
    • Provide regular reports to management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
    • Collaborate with the installation and support teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Training and Development:
    • Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
    • Share insights and best practices with team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the architectural lighting or related industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients.
  • Technical acumen and a passion for innovative design and lighting solutions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
