Gateway Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Safety and Security Monitor - PRN to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient movement into and out of the facility, ensuring a secure and controlled environment.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, including security rounds and patient interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on all facility rules, regulations, and policies, providing guidance and support to staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular safety and security rounds throughout the building, identifying potential risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Conduct thorough room inspections and complete reports of findings daily, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Support Nursing staff with visual searches upon admission, ensuring the safety and security of our patients.
  • Provide crisis management and patient de-escalation support to clinical staff, utilizing effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Collaborate with Counselor Techs to ensure smooth transfers and transitions, maintaining a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
  • Monitor medication and MAT lines to prevent diversion, ensuring the integrity of our medication management system.
  • Participate in K-9 walk-throughs on a rotating schedule, working closely with the Regional Director of Security to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide support to the program as needed, including transporting patients and assisting with daily operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Chemical dependency treatment experience preferred.
  • Pass PA Criminal Background Check, obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances, and pass Drug Screen, TB Test, and MVR Check.

Gateway Rehab is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring our team members to stay focused and alert during their shifts. As a Safety and Security Monitor - PRN, you will be expected to maintain a high level of energy and attention to detail, ensuring the safety and security of our patients and staff.
