Medical Assistant/EMT Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled Medical Assistants and EMTs to join our team at Piedmont Urgent Care by Wellstreet.

Job Summary:

As a Medical Assistant/EMT, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for and assist with examinations and treatments
  • Perform triage and obtain vital signs
  • Document patient history and medical interventions in Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collect and maintain patient and business documents while maintaining confidentiality
  • Administer medications and perform various clinical procedures
  • Train and assist with Occupational Medicine services
  • Ensure compliance with health care regulatory requirements and quality assurance programs
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a MA or EMT program from an accredited institution
  • One year of relevant healthcare experience; preferably in urgent care or emergency department
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and injections
  • Knowledge of clinical procedures, medical anatomy, and physiology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMT Certification
