Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our center prioritizes early intervention, integrated autism care, and evidence-based methodologies tailored to each child\u2019s unique needs.

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Soar, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to improve communication abilities in children aged 2-6, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and instruments.
  • Collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Actively engaging families in the treatment process by providing education, resources, and support to foster their child\u2019s speech and language development.
  • Regularly evaluating and documenting progress, refining interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master\u2019s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology in the state of Colorado.
  • 3+ years of experience in speech-language pathology, with a preference for those with experience working with children with autism.
  • Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or a willingness to learn from our clinical teams.
