Key Responsibilities- Optimize Radiation Use: Ensure the safe and effective use of radiation in diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Assist with Procedures: Assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures, including angioplasty, biopsies, and image-guided thermal ablation.
- Advise on Radiology Equipment: Provide guidance on the provision of radiology equipment and ensure its proper use.
- Evaluate Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of radiology services and make recommendations for improvement.
- Train Staff and Physicians: Train staff and physicians in relevant aspects of radiation protection and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Education: Two-year degree in Interventional Radiology or a related field.
