We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our Cardio-Pulmonary team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As a key member of our inpatient nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Administer medications, hang IV piggybacks, and fluids, excluding IV Push meds
- Chart assessments on assigned patients, given that an RN has charted the initial assessment
- Communicate with physicians/APPs to receive orders and coordinate care for patients
- Complete dressing changes, trach care, and NG tube care as needed
- Reinforce education and discharge instructions
- College Diploma Practical Nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) upon hire
- Basic BLS (within 30 days of hire) and ACLS (within 1 year of hire)
Our fast-paced unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a supportive team environment. You will work closely with our Heart and Vascular Institute procedural area to provide high-quality care to our patients.
