Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Illinois.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Tech to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiography, and electrophysiology studies.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including catheters, guidewires, and imaging systems.
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
