Nursing Unit Manager

Lenoir Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Nursing Unit Manager. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and supervision to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee and coordinate resident care plans, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status and update care plans as needed.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff, providing support and guidance to ensure the delivery of exceptional care.
- Assist in training and orientation of new employees, promoting a smooth transition into their roles.
- Handle emergencies and issues that arise during shifts, following established protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
