Job Summary

FarrWest is seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom vehicle assemblies and repairs using metalworking equipment and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create design ideas and drawings of projects based on customer needs
  • Produce high-quality welds with Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless
  • Fabricate small brackets and mounts for various vehicles
  • Powdercoat or paint finished products
  • Install finished products into vehicles
  • Estimate and order material for projects and stock
  • Repair and install bumpers, truck accessories, and K-9 kennels
Requirements
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of welding and cutting tools
  • Ability to safely use and maintain large metalworking equipment
  • Knowledge of 12-volt systems and general automotive
  • Basic fabrication geometry knowledge
  • Personal hand tools and tool storage required
  • Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
  • Maintain a well-groomed appearance
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds
