Job Title: Vice President of Salesforce Architecture

Henderson Harbor Group is a premier executive search and consulting firm with deep experience in technology, finance, accounting, and tax. Our client is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Salesforce initiatives and architecture strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Salesforce architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology roadmap.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions, leveraging expertise in Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and integrations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce architects, developers, and administrators, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical direction, and ensure delivery of robust, scalable solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and security.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure compliance with financial industry regulations, including security, privacy, and data governance.
  • Proactively identify performance issues and bottlenecks, recommending and implementing improvements to ensure optimal platform performance and scalability.
  • Oversee Salesforce releases and enhancements, ensuring seamless deployment and adherence to change management protocols.
  • Manage relationships with Salesforce and third-party vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery of services aligned with the company's needs.
  • Stay current on Salesforce best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends, bringing innovative solutions to enhance our Salesforce ecosystem.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture and implementation, with a focus on large-scale financial services environments.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other related platforms.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects, including data migrations, custom development, and large-scale integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and security models within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Experience managing and mentoring technical teams, with demonstrated success in team leadership and development.
  • Familiarity with financial industry regulations, including data privacy (e.g., GDPR), SOX compliance, and security standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, System Architect, or Platform Developer I/II are highly desirable.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital transformation initiatives in the financial services sector.
  • Proven ability to drive change management and adoption strategies across complex organizations.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud as it relates to Salesforce integrations.
