Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Cambridge Health Alliance. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of non-invasive cardiovascular tests, including cardiovascular 2-D imaging, color flow, spectral display, continuous and pulsed wave Doppler, exercise/pharmacologic stress, harmonics, and contrast imaging, and holter scanning.
  • Recognize adequate vs inadequate data collection and prepare preliminary reports for physician interpretation.
  • Recognize abnormalities and life-threatening findings and report to physicians or nursing units as indicated, documenting notification as part of Quality Improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Education/Training: Accredited Allied Health Program, registry eligible.
  • Certifications: American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Healthcare Provider.
  • Work Experience: Previous clinical background required.
