At ManTech, we're seeking a talented Data Architect to join our team in Arlington, VA. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing and supervising our data infrastructure, data flows, and data management principles.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data architectures that meet business requirements and ensure data security and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and data standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data management initiatives and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide data analytics and insights to support business decision-making and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in data science or related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Senior-level operations management, administrative management, or project management experience within the past five years.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and competing requirements.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • 5-10 years of professional and technical experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or related role developing data models and architectural solutions.
  • Knowledge of developing and using data standards comprising common formats, representation, definition, structuring, manipulation, tagging, transmission, use, and management of data.
  • 5-10 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing business applications from business concept through to production.
  • 5-10 years of experience working with data programming languages (Python, Java, SQL, etc.) and data orchestration and integration pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms similar to Amazon Web Services, Azure, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with CIA Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) or NSA GOVCLOUD or other major cloud providers.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle including Agile and traditional project management and delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Project Management or Program Management Professional certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
