Job Title: Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in data governance, data management, and data usability across platforms.
  • Identify data inputs leveraging available data sources, manipulate and map data and interfaces, generate output, and provide completely legible documentation in a Government-approved format.
  • Research and develop policy or whitepapers that support plans and projects for data activities.
  • Provide DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) support and recommendations on client tools and task management solutions.
  • Provide IT strategic advice to government staff and identify new initiatives or issues that relate to the client.
  • Audit database regularly to maintain quality and create systems to keep data secure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred.
  • Math and computer science proficiency.
  • The ability to analyze and present statistical information.
  • Mastery of specific types of databases, such as relational or foundational databases.
  • Experience with database management software.
  • Data management skills.
  • Ability to lead an IT team and explain complicated concepts in simple terms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop strong client relationships.
