Position Overview
We are in search of a skilled and driven Maintenance Technician to become a vital part of our innovative team within the manufacturing sector. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining the operational efficiency of our production machinery and equipment. This is a permanent role that provides both stability and opportunities for advancement within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to quickly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Leverage your knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and industrial maintenance to effectively troubleshoot and address technical challenges.
- Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technological advancements to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs is required.
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
- Thorough understanding of preventive maintenance techniques and the capability to conduct routine inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to swiftly identify and rectify equipment malfunctions.
- Proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with safety guidelines and protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to urgent maintenance requests.
