About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Providence Centralia Hospital. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in the treatment planning process, working closely with our radiation oncology team to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment planning and dose calculations for radiation therapy patients
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Supervise CT simulation and assist with patient set-ups
  • Troubleshoot treatment machines and equipment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) certification or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in radiation therapy or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience as a certified medical dosimetrist
  • Registered Radiation Therapist certification
