About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at Providence Centralia Hospital. As a Medical Dosimetrist, you will play a critical role in the treatment planning process, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective treatment plans for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treatment planning and dose calculations using advanced software and equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Supervise CT simulation and assist with patient set-ups as needed
  • Troubleshoot treatment machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent experience
  • Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical dosimetry or related field
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist certification or National Certified Medical Dosimetrist certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of experience as a certified medical dosimetrist
  • Registered Radiation Therapist certification prior to attending a dosimetry school
