Position Overview:
Primary Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Role Summary:
The Production Facility Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the production area and equipment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and related systems, including tanks, lines, valves, and conveyors.
  • Regularly sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming the production floors.
  • Polishing stainless-steel components to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Removing debris such as bottles and cans from the production environment.
  • Alerting management to any equipment issues that may require repair or maintenance.
  • Completing necessary documentation to track equipment status and supply orders.
  • Utilizing appropriate safety gear and adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Participating in all required safety and food safety training.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Basic mathematical skills for performing calculations and interpreting data.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires regular physical activity, including:

  • Using hands for handling and reaching.
  • Walking, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally climbing.
  • Lifting and moving items weighing up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:
Employees may encounter wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and exposure to various chemicals. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
