Job Title: Kids Ministry Director

At Corona Friends Church, we are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our Kids Ministry. As the Kids Ministry Director, you will be responsible for cultivating a purposeful, fun, safe, and engaging discipleship culture for kids from birth – 5th grade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Kids Ministry strategy that aligns with our church's mission and vision.
  • Lead and develop a team of volunteers to support the ministry, including recruiting, training, and equipping.
  • Coordinate and plan Kids community events, such as VBS, Harvest Festivals, and Easter Egg Hunts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and kids through regular communication and ministry events.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in children's ministry and incorporate new ideas and strategies into the ministry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in children's ministry, creative teaching, Biblical Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a team and lead volunteers.
  • Ability to comprehend and express written and oral information with clarity.
  • Physical demands include remaining in a stationary position for extended periods and occasionally moving about within the church building.
