About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Manager to oversee the operations of our full-service laboratory in Georgia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall quality, efficiency, and safety of laboratory operations
- Assist in reviewing and revising procedures and documentation
- Participate in competency assessment programs
- Contribute to planning and implementing changes in laboratory operations
- Supervise and manage laboratory staff
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science and be certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Previous hospital-based leadership experience, particularly in a high-volume laboratory, is highly desirable.
