About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Surgical team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress, reporting to the RN as necessary.
  • Create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Perform nursing tasks as appropriate and safe under indirect supervision of the RN.
  • Reinforce individualized education for patients, families, and caregivers throughout the continuum of care, as directed by the RN.
  • Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and comply with all policies and procedures related to job duties.

Requirements

  • Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS Certification.
