We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical Surgical team at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor, record, and report patient symptoms, reactions, and progress to members of the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Perform nursing tasks as appropriate and safe under indirect supervision of the RN.
- Reinforce individualized education for the patient, family, and/or caregiver throughout the continuum of care as directed by the RN.
- Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
- Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS Certification.
