Job Title: School Therapist

Universal Health Services is seeking a skilled School Therapist to join our team at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System. As a School Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to students within the school environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual therapy and crisis intervention services to students
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address students' social, emotional, and academic needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students' academic and behavioral success
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement vocational and transitional plans to support students' post-secondary goals
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in a mental health/human services field from an accredited college
  • Minimum of two years experience in a school, special education, or behavioral health setting
  • LPC/LSW licensure required, LCPC/LCSW preferred or Illinois Certification Type 73 (School Social Worker) required
