Mental Health Therapist

As an inpatient therapist, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate behavioral health services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Actively communicate with clients, families, and outside referral sources, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members.
- Create thorough discharge plans that meet the client's after-care needs.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in the state of practice.
- Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
- CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
