A&P Base Mechanic - Rotor Wing Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled A&P Base Mechanic - Rotor Wing to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rotor wing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances.
  • Support the daily maintenance of the Airbus EC135, EC145 series aircraft at their base.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to maintain our helicopters to the highest standards possible.
Requirements:
  • Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required (A&P)
  • Inspection Authorization Certification preferred
  • Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
  • Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs. and lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory system
  • IFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferred
  • Manufacturer training or equivalent on Airbus EC135 and EC145 preferred
  • Airbus helicopter (EC135 or EC145) maintenance experience required
  • Prior civilian HEMS experience preferred
