Reporting directly to the Manager of Controls Engineering, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication and leadership abilities. Key responsibilities encompass:
- Designing and implementing automated control solutions
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in electrical control systems
- Providing programming support and guidance to team members
- Maintaining and optimizing PLC systems
- Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives
This position may involve physical challenges and requires a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in process automation utilizing PLCs
- Expertise in troubleshooting instrumentation and conveyor systems
- Proficient in working with Allen-Bradley PLC hardware
- Capability to operate effectively in industrial settings
- Successful completion of a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Experience with AutoCAD software
