Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Screener to join our team at Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services. As a Security Screener, you will be responsible for inspecting items using x-ray viewing equipment to determine whether they contain objects that warrant further investigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, working in various environments and conditions.
  • Inspect items using x-ray viewing equipment to identify potential security threats.
  • Communicate situation details to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • Must possess one or more of the following: service in any military branch, law enforcement role, or municipal or federal correctional officer.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
