Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care nursing practices.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential complications and taking proactive measures to prevent adverse outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in critical care nursing, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course.
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current National Certification in area of specialty.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this role is $53.45 - $80.72 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
