Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by utilizing radioisotopes to assist in the diagnosis of cardiac pathologies. This position requires the ability to perform Nuclear Medicine CT-related procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a cardiologist or licensed independent practitioner.

Responsibilities:

1. Satisfactory completion of an education program in Nuclear Medicine.

2. Current license with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) N or certificate with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

3. Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.

4. Current Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required. PET certification recommended upon completion of 700 hours of clinical experience.

5. Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.
