Role Responsibilities

Starting compensation is $16.25 per hour.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional experiences for our current and prospective members. Your daily tasks will include a mix of warm welcomes, enthusiastic interactions, proficient phone communication, guiding new members through the onboarding process, and ensuring our facility remains impeccably clean.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and engage with all members, potential members, and guests.
  • Provide information about memberships and conduct facility tours.
  • Perform daily cleaning duties to maintain a pristine gym environment.
  • Handle membership sign-ups, answer phone inquiries, process transactions, and address member concerns.
  • Assist with billing inquiries and escalate issues to management as necessary.
  • Regularly review and complete all training materials and updates in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain knowledge of amenities, membership options, fitness programs, and equipment functionalities to assist members effectively.
  • Prepare and serve smoothies, if applicable, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and contribute to team discussions.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Availability to work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
  • Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
  • A collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical requirements include:
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  • Mobility around the gym, including walking and climbing stairs.
  • Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movements.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in computer operations.
  • Capability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
