Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Firefighter-Paramedic to join our team. As a Firefighter-Paramedic, you will be responsible for performing emergency medical services as a certified paramedic for an assigned engine company and performing various fire service duties, including all hazards emergency response, ocean rescue, fire suppression, hazardous materials operations, station and equipment maintenance, fire prevention, public education, and related duties.
Responsibilities:- Perform emergency medical services as a certified paramedic for an assigned engine company.
- Perform various fire service duties, including all hazards emergency response, ocean rescue, fire suppression, hazardous materials operations, station and equipment maintenance, fire prevention, public education, and related duties.
- Work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Meet the physical demands of the job, including rigorous activities associated with emergency operations.
- One year of full-time paid firefighting experience with a comparable fire agency.
- Registration as a Paramedic nationally or in the State of California.
- Physical capability to perform all tasks required of a Firefighter, including rigorous activities associated with emergency operations.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
