Key Responsibilities:

  • The contractor will undertake the following duties at an expert/senior/full performance level in the role of GEOINT Staff Officer:
  • Deliver functional support aimed at enhancing the Army's capability to maintain GEOINT readiness both currently and in the future.
  • Analyze directives from higher authorities, command guidance, and strategic objectives to fulfill the priorities set by the Director DAMI-OI, aligning with operational goals and missions.
  • Contribute to the Army's sensor-to-shooter learning initiative by developing innovative GEOINT Concepts of Operation (CONOPS), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) frameworks, integrating Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) where applicable.
  • Provide comprehensive verbal and written recommendations for General Officer/Senior Executive Service audiences on multi-year initiatives, doctrine, and policies impacting the Army at large.
  • Review and offer insights on Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) GEOINT-related requirement documents, plans, and strategies.
  • Collaborate with members of the Army's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Task Force, G-2 Science & Technology Advisor, Army GEOINT Office team, Army Futures Command, and Army TENCAP to ensure the approved position of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 is represented accurately.
  • Conduct high-level research, analysis, development, and coordination of GEOINT-related strategies, policies, doctrines, and requirements across the IC, DoD, Service, and Command levels.
  • Promote interagency policy development on GEOINT matters while ensuring that Army authorities, concerns, and interests are effectively represented.
  • Perform research to provide strategic and conceptual guidance on GEOINT-related topics to Army and IC leadership.
  • Execute thorough and systematic analyses of the tasking, collection, exploitation, processing, and dissemination of GEOINT data.
  • Assemble and analyze data; prepare expert-level draft documents and presentations; and coordinate efforts among HQDA/AGO staff sections, project team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Support Army, DoD, and IC GEOINT initiatives through engagement and collaboration with relevant mission partners.
  • Advise on and facilitate the advancement of critical GEOINT projects, ensuring timely and effective agency coordination, particularly with the Army Task Management Tool (TMT) and the Joint Staff Action Process (JSAP).

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Experience:
Minimum of 12 years as a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst (Army experience preferred).

  • Proven experience as a staff action officer on the ARSTAF or a comparable level within a DOD or IC organization/agency.

Security Clearance:

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Army GEOINT and Army Space programs, objectives, and goals.
  • Exceptional communication (writing and briefing) and analytical capabilities.
