Coatings Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Coatings Specialist to join our team at Amerequip Corporation.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.

The Coatings Specialist will be responsible for painting and preparing parts in our paint shop. This includes general touch-up of parts on moving conveyor lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate label printer to identify painted parts.
• Maintain good computer skills to effectively manage tasks.
• Promote a safe working environment by following established safety protocols.
• Utilize knowledge of touch-up paint guns and automatic spray equipment to achieve high-quality results.
• Prepare parts (repaints) prior to being painted by sanding and cleaning surfaces.
• Daily set-up and maintenance of paint room and booths.
• Mixing paint according to manufacturer specifications.
• General clean up and inspection of painted parts.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting up to 51 lbs with assistance or using hoist.
• Continuous standing required throughout the workday.
• Pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching, and grasping are continuous daily requirements.
