Position Overview:We are currently seeking a Registered Client Service Associate to support our Private Client Division. This role is essential in assisting Financial Advisors with the operational and marketing aspects of a thriving wealth management practice.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position requires both independent work and collaboration within a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Adapt to the needs of various accounts to effectively address inquiries from clients and advisors.
- Quickly gain proficiency in forms and account procedures to assist clients effectively.
- Utilize research and technical support tools to enhance service delivery.
- Generate high-quality analytical reports using various software applications.
- Promote the firm’s services by building strong relationships with advisors through prompt and accurate responses.
- Maintain integrity and respect in all interactions.
- Foster and develop existing client relationships.
- Assist in marketing initiatives and organize client events.
- Prioritize daily tasks, monitor project progress, manage phone communications, and schedule appointments.
- Exhibit initiative and a commitment to learning about relevant regulations and concepts.
- Engage with other support staff, Financial Advisors, and management within the local office.
- Series 7 and 63/65 (or 66) licenses required within the first six months of employment.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales assistant or client service role within a corporate or brokerage setting.
- Proficient in technology, particularly MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to quickly learn internal software.
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude, eager for growth and development opportunities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, and clients in a professional manner.
- Capable of meeting deadlines and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision.
For positions in California, Oppenheimer is required by law to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role.
The estimated base salary range is $55,000 to $65,000. Additionally, certain roles may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses.
