Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Crisis Response. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for patients. Your expertise in computed tomography (CT) procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and procedures to provide the best possible care for patients
Requirements
  • BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications required
  • 2 years of experience in radiology or a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Schedule

This is a contract position with a minimum of 13 weeks and up to March 15, 2025. The schedule will include 12-hour days, Friday to Sunday, with 36 hours available per week.

Unit Information

This position will be based in the Emergency Department at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Crisis Response, working with a team of experienced radiology technologists and healthcare professionals. The unit is equipped with the latest imaging technologies, including Siemens scanners.
