Job Title: Certified Radiology Technologist

Certified Radiology Technologists are in high demand to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and imaging centers. This role requires a strong foundation in radiologic technology, including knowledge of radiation safety, patient positioning, and imaging modalities.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as needed for imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (CT) certification required.
  • BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required.
  • Completed High School (Diploma or GED).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in CT and Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
