Position Overview

We're seeking a Sales Associate to join our team at Ann Taylor Factory in Lehi, Utah. As a Sales Associate, you'll play a critical role in driving revenue by providing exceptional customer service, building relationships, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody our values and set an example through your behavior
  • Ensure compliance with all ANN INC. practices and procedures
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager, Co-Manager, and Sales Leads
Revenue Generation
  • Meet or exceed divisional, store, and individual financial and credit goals
Client Experience
  • Provide excellent customer service by anticipating client needs and exceeding expectations
  • Build relationships with clients, create client loyalty, and multi-task while servicing internal and external clients
  • Address client concerns and come to resolution when possible, involving management where necessary
Operations
  • Complete opening and closing procedures, including replenishing merchandise, recovering the store, and processing shipments
  • Meet merchandise processing standards and maintain an organized work area
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention practices and report potential incidents to ensure shortage control and protect company assets
Technical Expertise
  • Demonstrate a desire and ability to learn and navigate ANN INC. computer systems
  • Perform register transactions quickly and efficiently
  • Operate phone, answering calls with an appropriate greeting, transferring, and placing calls on hold
Product/Brand Management
  • Understand and articulate the Company's brand positioning, including current marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Live the ANN INC. Purpose, Values & Behaviors in all interactions
  • Participate in and attend Store Meetings
Requirements
  • Client Service: Ability to function as a role model, ensuring the client remains the top priority
  • Follow Directions: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with ANN INC.'s guidelines
Educational Requirements and Experience
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum one year sales associate or relevant experience in the services industry with proven results
