Job Description

Position Overview

Lumbee Holdings, Inc. is a leading provider of IT solutions and cybersecurity services to the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Business Development Lead to drive growth and expand our presence in the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Solution Development
    • Develop and design scalable, high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's technology strategy.
    • Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Author and Edit Proposals
    • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and technical teams to gather information and insights for proposal development.
    • Write, edit, and review proposal content, ensuring clarity, coherence, and alignment with DoD requirements.
    • Craft compelling executive summaries, technical narratives, and solution descriptions that resonate with evaluators.
  • Manage Proposal and Technical Writing
    • Develop graphics, charts, and visual aids to enhance proposal sections (e.g., process flows, diagrams, and infographics).
    • Coordinate with graphic artists and designers to create visually appealing proposal layouts.
    • Conduct thorough quality checks to verify compliance with solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders
    • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other architects to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of experience in solutions architecture or a related role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
