- Financial Statements: Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Portfolio Valuations: Prepare quarterly portfolio company valuations and performance calculations, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Capital Calls: Assist with capital calls and distributions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Cap Tables: Manage cap tables and financing documents from investments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Forecasting: Assist with supporting forecasts, including fund IRR calculations, to inform business decisions.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related business degree; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience at a fund management company or in corporate accounting.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams or third-party providers, with a proven track record of success.
- Financial Skills: Experience with cash management, AR, AP, fixed assets, expense reporting, budgets, and forecasting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Experience with managing financial statement audits and tax preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- System Knowledge: Experience with QuickBooks or similar systems, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Industry knowledge and understanding of industry-wide financial benchmarking, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Work Ethic: Desire to work hard and deliver timely and excellent results, with a strong attention to detail.
